I need to buy a new 750 carb for my 383 Road Runner.
Which online store has the best discount prices for such things?
Thanks, RRDon

If you want a custom, I bought one off this guy in Pennsylvania. Spoke with him and my set up and he built one to match.. Came pretty close too, just a little tweaking after install as usual. But very nice looking and runs strong.

He is an eBay guy. I've pasted a link here but you can contact and purchase outside of fleabay. This is just a sample post so you have the contact info..

Reach out to Johnny @ Pace performance, they may have a sale plus the dicount for FBBO Members

Found my Edelbrock intake and 750 carb on amazon for the best price. Was $329, but I just checked and they've raised it to match Summit's price of $375.

That carb probably is a Holley/Quick Fuel carb. Exactly like the Quick Fuel I have on mine, which Holley bought out.

Thanks guys. Looks like Amazon has about the best price or at least the same as the others. It's going on my 68 Road Runner. It has a Edelbrock 600 on it now but if I recall correctly the original RR 383's had 750 cfm carbs on them. I know my 70 did when I bought it brand new (back in June 1970). Wish I could go back and pick up a few more of those birds ;))

Is that a 383?

Originally a 383 but not original to my car. With that, I went to a 400 stroked to 470. Dynoe'd at 585 HP/610 torque. The engine would've hit 600 HP but my car came with A/C and power brakes so a little HP lost to compensate for vacuum on those two items.

Very nice. I understand the 400 makes an awesome stroker.
