You may have heard on the news about a Southern California man who was put under 72-hour psychiatric observation when it was found he owned 100 guns and allegedly had 100,000 rounds of ammunition stored in his home.

The house also featured a secret escape tunnel.

By Southern California standards, someone owning 100,000 rounds is considered "mentally unstable."

In Michigan , he'd be called "The last white guy still living in Detroit ".

In Arizona , he'd be called "an avid gun collector."

In Arkansas, he'd be called "a novice gun collector."

In Utah, he'd be called "moderately well prepared," but they'd probably reserve judgment until they made sure that he had a corresponding quantity of stored food."

In Kansas, he'd be "A guy down the road you would want to have for a friend."

In Montana, he'd be called "The neighborhood 'Go-To' guy."

In Idaho, he'd be called "a likely gubernatorial candidate."

In Georgia, he'd be called "an eligible bachelor."

In North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, W.Va., Ohio, Louisiana Wisconsin, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Indiana, and New Mexico he would be called "a deer huntin' buddy."

And in Texas ; he'd just be "Bubba, who's a little short on ammo.":icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol:

Wonder what they would call me in Maine?

The funniest part, its correct. Nothing funnier than the truth

I'm in Tennessee, the "Patron State of Shootin' Stuff." They'd say it was a good start.

You forgot fl. That's about normal for around here every house on my street has at least 3-4 assault rifle s and tons of brass
God help any terrorists that come down my street they would wish they blew them selves up sooner

****........... I'm mentally unstable!!!!!!

I believe in home defense - but I think some people, are out of control with assault rifles and heavy clips etc. Have a few friends along those lines - just don't think it's necessary - God help us if it ever becomes so. I have my weapons too but I'm not armed like swat teams ..... Probably not a popular opinion on this board but it's mine. I'm no liberal pansy but I think I have some common sense. Gun collectors aside - what do the rest of you need all that armor for? They're not coming to bum fu$k, any state. What's it all for?

Yeah I'm sure they're scouting Omaha .....

sorry for that post - they could strike anywhere. I just don't think we need to be armed to the teeth everywhere.

You never think so until you need them, then it's to late.

Yeah I'm sure they're scouting Omaha ......

They are bringing them to Omaha as well.........

No vetting is being done under Obama's order to speed up the process of resettling the refugees. Thousands may be Islamic extremists taking advantage of the opportunity

Colchester is an hour and a half North of me. My guess is that they will seek to settle up in the northeast kingdom where there are few people per square mile. If the rest of Vermont is armed the folks in the kingdom are armed to the teeth and live up there because they WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE. God help them if they show their *** up there.

When the cow patties hit the fan, you'll need a small army to protect yourself. Most of my extended family knows how to shoot but are not stocked up very well in anything. I'm not either to tell the truth but own enough guns for every room in the house including a couple in the shop. It makes me real nervous when someone walks in from the back easement. Had some guy walk in from the street one day that said he was doing a survey and started asking me questions. The front of my shop is 120 feet from the street and I do not have a welcome sign hanging. Told him I wasn't interested nor did I have time to take a survey but he insisted.....and that's when I grabbed the 12ga and chambered a round. He got the message. Not too long ago someone walked in to a neighbor's garage and started helping himself to their lawn equipment. Doesn't happen all that often but even once is too much. I've lived here going on 32 years and have seen too much crap happen. Had a little incident happen in a restaurant yesterday with some hoodlum that could have escalated really quick. Don't know what his problem was but he had all the jail house tats and had the talk to go with it. It's too easy to become a victim if you're not prepared. At least guns don't take up the space that cars do lol

We have small end tables next to each seat in the living room that have 4" skirts around the bottom of the table top. There's a hand gun in a holster under each one fastened to the underside of the top. There's another on top of the mantle 6 and a half feet off the floor next to the door. Another on top of the big entertainment center wardrobe next to the other door and the Winchester lever action 30/30 next to my bed facing the back door. My wife, ( former police officer) has a Glock 19 on the side of her night table between it and the bed in a holster. We have about 200 rounds for each weapon and yes they are all loaded 24/7/365. We go through every few weeks and unload/clean/let the springs rest. The other night at about 11 PM my wife noticed a red light out front and asked me what it was. I got up and peeked out the front window at a sedan parked in front of the house on our dirt road and running. I stepped out onto the front porch with the Kel Tec PF9 behind my back and there were two guys in it talking **** about "country F**ks". I switched on the porch light and they flipped me the bird and took off spinning up dirt and gravel. I went back in and put away the hand gun and grabbed the Winchester. I went back out into the front yard and watched their tail lights go down the mountain and turn around to come back. I went out and stood next to my split rail fence by the road and held the rifle down over my left arm. As they got close they began to slow down and then the driver shouted," Oh ****! He's got a ******* gun...." and stomped on it. When I went back inside my wife was laughing, she said if I didn't behave myself I was going to get a bad reputation. I said," Good."

I'm not stupid stocked up but if IF stuff hits the fan I want to be somewhat ready at least enough to get to my buddies house where he has a dedicated room for his guns and ammo , not a safe a room wall to wall . It's so much fun going to his house and cleaning guns .
But IF it go's down he's deff ready
