I don't like ngk's I find every time I get a set they always fal out ,I agree with smitty Champions all day long

I quit using Champion plugs back in the 90's when they were no longer dependable. Just bad plug life. Then they all changed heat ranges for the same old plug number leaving it a guessing game as to what to use. I now use all different brands based on how the engine runs and plug life. Each vehicle ended up using a different brand and plug. The only Champion pugs I use are the truck heavy duty in the trucks. Hope you find a plug that works for you and your engine.

with 440 soure heads you'll need a 3/4" reach plug. go to wal-mart and get a set of autolite 3924's and don't look back.

The nice thing about the NGK is that the cadmium plating helps with with plug reading. A certain "brand" plug won't foul on its own. That's controlled by jetting and plug heat range. Any brand will work. My race car still has the same NGK's that it started with 200 passes and 2 years ago. They outlasted the valve springs, LOL

I agree, back in the day I used Champion, NGK, Autolite. All about same, Just decipher the heat range & get your jetting figured out. I had Champion RC9YC's in my Ede heads when bought the car, 440 Source recommended RC12YC. I'll try both.
