Which transmission

This is for the future. Planning on swapping my push button transmission 64 Polara 318 poly.
What standard 727 will fit behind the poly.

Any LA (small block ) 727 or 904. 1971 and up have part throttle kick down, that would really help your 318. Note that these have slip yoke type output shaft and will require a different drive shaft.
