The not so tall man

What is the best way to do this? Right now I have the old one cut off.
I have 3 spot weds on the roof drilled out so the quarter can slide under it.
I have 3 or so of the drip rail spot welds drilled out and pulled the last five inches slightly down to slide the quarter up and in.
I am having trouble getting the tab at the dutchman panel in place, while getting the quarter over the trunk gutters while also getting the edge of the leading sail panel over the piece it overlaps and the top corner, at the top of the door jamb in place.
So my question is do you start putting it in place from back to front, front to back, or should I cut more spot welds so I can push it up further into the roof and then pull it down into place?
Any tips are well appreciated.
