Just for curiosity, how many Raptors does the US have?

190-ish?
Perhaps 194 or 195 built?

8 aircraft were for test +Tail 9132
1. We lost Raptor 4008 (Mega million flight test "HEAVY LOADS" bird in March 2009 with our dearest friend Retired USAF Lt. Col Dave "Cools" Cooley in a catastrophic flight test maneuver here at Edwards
2. we lost Ship 4014 on take off at Nellis AFB (Ha Ha, I was there TDY at the time), Pilot ejected safely, jet burned to the ground on the west end of the flight Line.
3. We gave up 4003, 4002, 4004, 4005 to attrition, simply put, worn out from Flt test
4. We lost Capt. Jeff Haney in a horrific "routine nigh time training mission" over Denali Alaska, November 2010
Leaving:186 ish?

but I'm no expert, you never know...LOL

Remember the F-117 being called flying saucers, when sighted
for a decade before they cam out/came clean...
