Canadian built Argus. First flown in 1957, was at the time the world's best submarine hunter. The first large aircraft to use a lot of titanium, as well as structural plastic to electrically insulate some of the sensors. Since it was designed for low level operations, it was unpressurized.

It was in service until being replaced in 1982 by the CP-140 Aurora (which was similar to the Lockheed P3-C Orion but with Canadian specified internal mission systems and wingtip pods). The Argus had greater range than it's successor.
