Just dug into the trunk lid off my `70 road runner project and found the lower lip rusted thru, although I could fix it I`d prefer to find either a rust free used one or buy a new AMD one. Finding a good used one and then having it shipped won`t be easy so debating on just buying new. Who has bought and fit one? How good/bad is fitment around opening and flatness/straightness of top surface? I see they don`t have the wing cut outs so I`d have to do that as mine came factory with a Go-Wing. AMD is having a black Friday sale with free shipping so that will the budget a little bit.

The one I seen was long and stuck out the back of the car now with that being said none of them were perfect from the factory but this one was pretty bad

I understand any panel will need work but I don`t want to spend almost $1,000 for one that fits like crap and needs a lot.

i don’t know how much rework was done on mine. It fits nice. Sorry I can’t ask him do to medical reasons

AMD decklid too long? My body guy was complaining about the AMD Air Grabber hood was too short! No cutouts for a Go Wing??

I think I was up to four or five decklids before I found one that didn't some kind of perforation somewhere on the part after media blasting, and I live in an area where they don't salt the roads!

That`s why I`m thinking just getting a new one, buying used I risk it being just s rusty as the one I have.
