Michael McDonald with the Doobie Brothers was a must combo.

I agree that Michael McDonald made the Doobies sound recognizable to main stream music and some of the hits we all knew, but I like the music but wasn’t a fan of the voice per say.. it’s recognizable for sure which helps but we used to play this song in the cover band and out of all of them this one never got old to play..this is the voice I like..Tom Johnston
