Rc, They do not look like Bendix 4 piston Brakes, which would be correct for a 68 car. I know, as I had the Bendix on my 68 RR. Perhaps they are the Kelsey Hayes variant.

Looks like that number is a Generic Chinese brand RC....hate to say it, but they may be cheap replacements.

Pretty sure that line passes fluid from the inner pistons (inner half of the caliper) to the outer half. The fluid delivery from the framerail is delivered essentially the same as usual, to a separate input port to accept the brake hose.

I have an old Wilwood Grand National caliper designed to operate like this, but is missing the line. Note the connector at the left side of the caliper, and the recess made for the line:

My Hurst Airheart has it too, but so happens that the only photo I have of it on hand at the moment is of the wrong side, though you can see the fitting to accept the brake hose in the center:

Looking back we could never afford to mess with the high end brakes, lol! It was all oe stuff
I'll have to look at my 4 piston Wilwoods again, but I'm thinking the crossover is internal I don't remember seeing a jumper...

That Wilwood Grand National I posted is from the mid-'70s-early 1980s. Ancient history.

Your new 4-pistons are probably completely different in design.
