Really digging into a few things on my grandparents, now my 63.

Engine and transmission are at rebuilders. Engine bay stripped and soon to be painted.

Did the Bergman steering upgrade while everything is out of the way.

That's what I did during winter, no heat in garage, heater resto, pedal assembly, dash.
Sit on the floor in the house, flip the TV on, and get to work.
Gotta do something to stay busy.

How is the fitment of the steering box to the frame mount ? Any shims needed ?

It went smoothly. I had to loosen the column a little to help with alignment. But it feels pretty good and no shims were needed.
