The company that I am leased on to is offering a $5,000.00 sign on bonus. Most company drivers average $70,000 a year with great benefits. Sucks being away from home, but it's a fairly easy way to make great money.

The BA wants me to work on my welding cert and hazmat cert right away. When I’m done with those I’ll go for CDL

If you do go CDL, get tanker, doubles, endorsements also. You’re already studying, might as well get it all.

Got my referral letter approved today. They’re sending me out to a job in Fort Wayne Indiana. About 2.5 hours away but their paying for a hotel and everything. Wife isn’t too happy about that but I gotta do what I gotta do, can’t pass up the opportunity.
