426 hemi running when removed from 1970 Challenger, been sitting in garage for 15 years. Found one today and would like to make offer but not sure of value. Any input would help. Thanx Don

I've never bought or owned a 426 Hemi, but I would say if it's 10 grand or less it would be a great deal.

Just think how much that challenger with a hemi would be worth today?
Looks like it was one of 356 for 1970...

1970 is a valuable year. A bare block can fetch $8K if it's out of a car and not junk. Carbs $3K easy. I'll agree if the whole thing is less than $10K it's probably a good deal but you should inspect it thoroughly. At least pull the sheet metal.
