WIW 8 3/4 Sure Grip??

I have the above rear end out of my 80K mile 66 Charger that I want to sell. There is another guy in town that has a 66 Charger and his rear end is howling and wants to trade He does not know if his is Sure Grip or not.

So, two questions what is mine worth and what is his worth?

I've seen "complete" axles and housings, less the chunk going for $75-$150 down here.

The centers with SG are usually priced according to ratio, close to:

2.94- $250
3.23- $300
3.55- $350
3.91- $400

Withhout SG 2.94 and 3.23 are $100 or less, 3.55s are $150, and I can't remember the last time I've seen a non-SG 3.91.

...of course there's usually a slight premium for clutch style SG and/or 489 case.

YY1; Decent #'s there, depends on area of the country your in too, but those look like decent ball park figures to me, a little high maybe, but still a good price range... :argue: 696PAC The guy with the gear set that howls, should be much cheaper, it's either bearings or worn ring & pinion for sure, or both or they were set up wrong to begin with, make him a low ball offer, he gives you cash/or what ever your looking for & his rear parts in trade....
