yay or nay on scoop?

in my opinion the scoop thing on mopars is over done. i think people buy mopars just so they can cut a hole in the hood. i really like the early b-bodies but every time you see one anymore somebody has whacked the hood for a scoop that doesn't even work, and the real ones never worked very good anyway. i was at the goodguys once and a guy had a /6 car with a s/s scoop.

if it can stick out of the top of the hood............then you better not have a hood at all.

also, if it is not one of the typical mopar ordained hoods then it looks wierd (maybe just wierd to me).
