yeah...mine was an original rear defrost Charger

I think they used that blower type rear window defroster up to and including the 1973 models. In 1974, they went to the electric grid type rear window defroster. These photos show the grid type defroster in my car.

Rear window defog is cool to have. All package trays would be stamped the same for costs. I always thought it was odd they had 3 speaker holes. Does the rear defogger pull air from the center speaker hole or one of the outer ones? And when you had rear speaker option was it ONE or TWO rear speakers? Just wondering how those holes were all used?

It would be interesting to find out if they used common parts throughout the years for rear defrost. The motors and squirrel cages may be a common part number. Here's a NOS one from an early Barracuda kit I had.

My 66 Satellite had a dealer installed A/C mounted to the package tray. I still have the parts if you are interested.
