YOUR dream car , If its not the car you currently own. What would it be

It would be a car I used to own:

Because we are on an all Mopar site.
Lets keep it Mopars and B bodies only please
My first post I blew it and posted an A-body, forgive me sir.
Allow me to make up for it...

I always dreamt of owning a '69 Roadrunner, which gratefully now I do.

If I could pick which B-body could or would be next for me then my choice would be a '68 Charger or '68 Roadrunner...

These are alway easy for me. I own the blue car, may dad owned the red car. Both 6bbl 4 speed cars, but his was one of a kind. I love my car, but I want my Dads car, it was the most beautiful car I’ve ever seen, and a very special car.

Local trucking company owner in my area has one almost exactly like it. National show winner. I can see the appeal. He grew up with Chevies, of course.

I grew up with most brands... except pontiac.. pontiac guys are weird... Only thing i like bout chevy anymore is the pricetag.... just my god it's all so inexpensive. Would like to have my 71 nova back though...

My number 1, would be a 68 Hemi 4-speed Charger R/T. With today's Charger prices, I may have to clone one.
Then there is a number 2. The one that I have owned and would like back, 69 Corvette T top, 350/350hp 4-speed, PS, PB, and AC, in Riverside Gold. I solvd it in a weak moment. I know it's not a Mopar, but so be it.
I pretty much have most of the dream cars I have wanted. I saw the 70 Daytona Charger on the cover of Muscle car review in 1985 and thought it was the coolest Mopar I have ever seen, so I am building a replica of the car. I understand the Corvette thing too. A C3 has always been a bucket list car for me,so I bought one. 68 was an amazing year for muscle cars and the 68 Charger R/T and C3 Corvette were the standout cars that year. I have a 71 Cuda 340 car missing it's original engine and transmission, so I have a Hemi engine and that will be where it is going, so that checked the Hemi Cuda box too. The only other dream car on my list is a Hellcat Redeye Challenger in Gold Rush paint.

Me too. It was on the list of "Mopar's I have never owned but would like to before I get so old that they take my drivers license away."

Oh ya, I found one. It's a long way from perfect but how many are? I don't need a Hemi. My Poly works just fine. My knees say no to 4,5, or 6, speeds. I like my 3.23's and 18 mpg cruising to car shows. I can't afford one like that.

I've always kept alternate choices in my play book. In the Mopar arena, I had two cars that were possible alternates to the Demonstrator, and I ended up owning one of them. The first was the '69 Hemi Road Runner sold by the same Dealership that owned my GTX. It was R4 red, with buckets and a console automatic, acquired from the sales bank late in the model year. I narrowly missed the opportunity to buy it in 1996, the last time it was on the market. Didn't have $20,000 cash, and neither the did the owner of the dealership that sold it. I've been able to track all the history up to that last sale, and hit a dead end. I bought a 1960 Chrysler 300F for $20,000 a year later, after getting a promotion and hefty bonus. I loved that car, but it didn't have the connection I had with the Road Runner, and I sold it two years later.

When I test drove the Demonstrator, I loved the look of the car, and torque of the 440. However, at 16, I felt the A/C and power accessories were needless extra weight. I really wanted the same car with a four speed, and no power options. GTX number five checked all the boxes in 2015. I sold it and bought a Hemi car in 202l, thinking it would be my last GTX. Then the Demonstrator fell in my lap a year later.

For years, my dream car was "any car with a factory stripe around the tail".
I had one for a few years and foolishly sold it when I thought they'd never make 1970 quarter panels.
So now, I'm back to "any car with a factory stripe around the tail" as my dream car.

Lately, I have been drawn to looking at early tail fin cars at shows. Make mine a 1959 DeSoto Adventurer in black and gold. Then, I would drop in a 1960-'61 413 with 30" cross rams!

They made 1960 Adventurers with cross rams, did they not?

I already have my dream car; my 1967 Coronet R/T in Daffodil Yellow. But, I would not say NO to a 1969 A12 Super Bee coupe in Sunfire Yellow. My heart says 4-speed with 4.10's, but my knees say Automatic.
I actually bought a new 1969 Sunfire Yellow SuperBee 383, automatic coupe (A12's were not available yet), a factory Track Pack car with 3.91's, and eventually got a Six Pack scooped hood for it. So, I would kinda be reliving that part of my misspent youth.
