So......how about some 'B' Body Vans.

This is the only photo I have of my '76 B250 hauling the remains of the Mustang body from my dirt modified... spring 1987.

I had just returned from racing the short tracks during Florida Speed Weeks.

You NASCAR fans should know Mark Martin drive this car for me on one occasion.

Once was enough...

Once was enough for Mark.

I ran a real budget operation. The engine was a junkyard 351-C with 133k on the clock.

I was running a local 1/4 mile oval track and I hired Mark to come up and give a special event some star power.

When he got there we went into my garage and he said..."looks like we have some work to do!".

A few spring changes, swapped the sway bay and set ride height and he was out for practice.

I had my crew put him on the clock...three laps in he broke the track record and blew the engine on the front straight.

Ruined my best $50 engine!

Later that night I put him in a competitive car and he did a quick 15 lap heat running against the guy who was the national champion.

He signed autographs until 10 pm.

I also sponsored him the following year when he had his Ford ASA deal... 1984.

May I ask why once was enough?
