Hey guys, thought i'd throw my Charger out there and see if it generates any interest, i know times are tough, but need to move something in order to make progress on other things. This one is not a project so much as something that needs a little tlc. Runs excellent, no rust and everything works. Will need wiper arms installed. I have it listed on FABO(crazy,i know), but i have more A-bodies than B-bodies, sooo.....listed under

Are you serious?

$7000 sounds a little steep to say the least for a 318 Charger.

Well, i'm ASKING 7....i will negotiate a bit. But i have seen a lot worse sell for stupid money. This one is all there and in good shape. Yeah, a little steep, but i'm not stuck on that number. Just want someone who knows what it is to make me the right offer.......
So what's it worth ?:hatwave:

We go through this all the time. If you're not interested in what is for sale, do not gripe about what someone is asking

So I guess I shouldn't answer that then huh??

I'll just say IF I was selling it, I would probably try $3000 to start. But I guess it depends what you have invest.

Lots O Luck! :tiphat:

BTW- I wasn't griping, I saw him tell someone in another post about the car so I checked it out. I was just shocked at the price! MY BAD!

Personally, I don't see what the big issue is about asking someone if they are actually asking that much for the car they are selling. What if someone hit an extra zero or a 1 in front of, say, $5,000 and didn't realize it? It happens and it helps sometimes to clarify the price.
Also, for those of us looking for a Mopar, clarification also helps. I actually would love to have a car like this, but that price is way more than some other Chargers can be bought that APPEAR to be in better shape. When I can pick up a '73 Charger SE locally that is a running, driving car for more than half that, it pays to clarify the price with the seller. If it was at $3k you'd have a serious buyer on your hands, that's for sure.

It's really very simple. IF the seller has made a mistake with the price in their post they will be able to tell 1) if it's way to high no one will contact them about it or 2) if it's way to low EVERYONE will contact them about it. Either way they'll get the message.

This is the FOR SALE forum, and is NOT for editorial comments on their asking price.

Allright guys...to clarify a few things....This is a running, driving and i must say, very dependable car. If it was at $3K i would have sold it months ago. But honestly the car IS worth more than that, trust me. I know she looks a little rough around the edges, but it is a 37 year old un-restored non-molested car with 93k real miles. Granted it's not a Cuda or second gen Charger, but i am very proud of her anyway. I drive this car as much as possible because it's such a good driving, riding car. Much more user friendly than my 72 Camaro is.
And something else...i appreciate (and respect) EVERYONES comment on this thread...no hurt feelings or anger here. I am proud to be a member of this site and be able to go back and forth with so many people who let it all hang out!! THAT is why this car is not on e-flay or anywhere else but my shop. And as i said, my price is not firm, just a number to start.
If anybody has any questions, i will be more than glad to answer anything.
Again, thanks......and keep talking

Three days and not one post ?........hmmmmmmmmmmmm whats up with that??
Guess i'll and bump it up and try again............

The site has been up for less than a year, and we just reached 1000 members. These things take time

Thanks

I know, i guess i thought i had been blackballed or something because of the price thing....
Thank You 69Runner for the walk- thru with this thread...still very proud to be a member here....just discouraged like a lot of other people out there. TIMES IS TUFF!!! 3 cars on 2 sites, still gottem....but thats not so bad, i'd rather hold'em than give'em away, things are getting a little better and can probably get them in the shop soon if things keep up the pace.

Nosir...If you'd been black balled you would have known it.:tongueflap: We're still cutting our teeth here, and trying to get bigger without getting badder (bad English, but you understand). Anyway, just hang loose and bump the thread if you need to keep it up top. There are more B body people joining every day, so even though waiting sucks, I'm sure someone will see it and have to have it.
