I was taking my 360 apart to put in new head gaskets and the cam looks pretty bad. Do you guys think I should replace it? If so any recommendations for a truck? sees mostly street and track use.

a camshaft is only bad if there is a lot of lobe or tappet wear. from what i can see from the pictures its just normal wear and discoloration it what appears to be a high mileage engine. i wouldn't worry about it, unless you want to pick some performance up. disassembling the rockers, pushrods and shafts for cleaning may not be a bad idea.

Right on, I was surprised to see the look of it. And yes I plan of cleaning everything then re-assembly. I think i may just leave the cam in.

I agree with lew. If you hadn't seen it you wouldn't have thought anything of it because there was no indication of a cam problem. Sometimes it's best to not look!

I tried doing this with my taxes but it didn't work.

Mopar367, How many miles on this engine??

Well I really have no Idea on the milage. It has been in 3 different trucks that I know of. I personally put about 3000 km on it. The bore in the cylinders in standard still and there isn't much of a ridge.
