I'm curious, in your make-shift blast room there, how long does it take with the siphon hose system, you know to do one frame rail?

I would guess it would take solid hour to do a frame rail complete. I have a pot sand blaster, but its just a Harbour Fright unit and it is more trouble than it is worth. I actually used the hose and gun from my cabinet blaster and a bucket full of screened playsand and it was just what the doctor ordered!.:grin:
BTW, don't let MoparStuart and Propwash get to you, comments like that are usually made out of jealousy!

Its all good folks, I can take a good ribbing, and sure can give 'em out too! As an FYI, with me, that same frame rail is about 8 minutes! :black_eye: :yes: :yes: I'm all for the do-it-yourselfer, just as long as you come see me when you tire of doing 'everything' yourself. With me, I am consigned to not touch one bit of the interior on any of my cars, I know nothing about it, and the shop next to me http://classiccustomupholstery.com/ are the pros, they do this stuff all day, and have been since I've been here at my shop.

Continueing prep for the new cowl section install coming along. Patch on top of rocker good to go, just have to cut in the drain hole. Doing some patchwork on the doner cowl and will be continueing that today.:grin:

Yes it originally was a 383 4spd. with no power steering or power brakes, with A.C. and it was LL1 turquoise. Original motor and trans. long gone though and I have no fender tag or build sheet, so the resto is rather freestyle. It will be its original color though, but with a black and white interior and a 383 with a six barrel and maybe a 5 spd. manual, depending on the budget.:grin::grin::grin:
