Anyone know what the best way to install a new FM antenna into a 74 roadrunner is? Or where the cable goes once it passes through the fender? I can't see any holes for it.

Wow... how do you get the cable into that hole? Looks like I need to find a wire coathanger.

Pull the splash shield off from the wheel well side, four screws. Full access to the underside of the antenna mount and an open shot to the grommet hole.
i could be wrong but I THINK it goes to the radio.:hello2: ...( sorry but i just could NOT pass that up )

Be sure to get a cable with a cone shaped rubber grommet to plug that hole. Mine did not have one and it was not until I had the carpet out that I learned that every time I washed the car there would be a puddle on the floor on the inside front passenger side. Just imagine what that will do to your floor pans.
And you may want to stay away from the mopar authentic brand, I thought what the hey I'll replace the cable, antemma and all while I'm at it. Guess what? The Freakin Mopar authentic $135.00 assy did not come with the one dad-gum piece I really needed. On the plus side the fantastic folks at Roseville were way understanding and hunted one down even though it was not thier fault :headbang:Oh yea also leave a little extra cable on the out side so you can make a drip loop. Thats kind of like putting a "J" in the wire so what water does foll the cable down will hit the bottom of the j and drip off the bottom and not simply follow the cable down and try to run right in and drip at the lowest point on the inside.

Fortunately, there are no originality points for this car, so what goes on is whatever will work for the best price. 
I've been installing and de-installing equipment in police cars since 1992, and know about those puddles. I must have a couple hundred emails from guys saying "hey, when it rains, the passenger carpet gets soaked. What gives?" The cops will pull the equipment and cables from their cars when they retire them, but leave the holes open.
