Just thought I'd show a couple of photos of my new rims on my 66 Satellite. Sadly I still can't get the car to start properly, once its started though, it runs great. Weak ignition perhaps, but then again I've got a new control box, electronic distributor, coil, and wires. Am I missing something simple here?

Enjoy!

Heres a video of it running. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJLadk1P2uM

Love the rims...what size engine you running in that monster. sounds great.

Its a rebuilt 383, 30 over pistons, Lunati cam, gear drive, but I still would likie to add some aluminum heads(Source 440) and maybe some headers.

raise the front torsion bars.

Just curious, what would raising the front torsion bars do?

Looks good!! Raising the torsion bars will raise the front of the car...not sure why you would want to do that.

Nice wheels! But I was going to suggest lowering the whole car an inch or so but keep the rake it has...

Sonny likes the '66 ply B body....it would look real HOT in BLACK!

Get out your voltmeter and measure voltage at the coil + terminal when you are cranking it over. It should be the same reading as what you have at the battery when cranking it.

By the way, it's cleaner than my 66 Coronet. Nice car!

ballast resister?

car looks great with the wheels by the way!

Yep, check the ballast and make sure its wired correctly. I had that issue with my car and the coil was getting no spark to the distributor cap because of this.
