Hi,
I've wanted to own a 68 Charger for a long time. I am in Afghanistan on my 3rd deployment and finally decided to do it. I searched for about two months for a nice solid rust-free body, and picked up a 1968 Charger with a slant-6 in it and a three-speed on the column. I honestly thought it was funny, and planned to rip the engine and transmission out and replace it with a big block. But it looks like I may own the only one ever made, and I'm not sure what to do.
I just wanted to cruise around in the muscle car of my dreams. Now I'm actually thinking of restoring a numbers matching in-line six??
What are your thoughts?
Thanks.
