Spiders in my shop

Where I grew up, we were constantly dealing with spiders. Most were the huge wolf spiders which are big and scary but mostly harmless. We'd wake up and go into the bathroom in the morning and you'd find one or two hanging out in there when you pulled the shower curtain back. I didn't need a cup a coffee to wake up in the morning as that was always a shocker. Now I'm pretty used to them and they don't bother me any.

At least it's not a "Wolf" spider....... They've got BIG teeth......

Those get big but they're harmless. More of a pest than anything to fear. I'll take huge wolf spiders over little brown recluses or black widows any day!!

cane spiders are pretty nasty looking as well .. harmless I think but none the less scary as ****

EEEEWWWWWWWW! I could stare-down someone holding a 9-mil, but cant face those big spiders!

My 71 Charger spent the last ten years living outdoors under the tree's. While removing the interior to clean up the mess the mice had made, every panel I removed had some form of spider looking back at you. I had to laugh, in the Spring after the car had been garaged over the winter, I had tent catapillars hatch over a couple days of warm weather and they had already formed webs from the driver's mirror back. I never knew there could be that much wildlife living in the car. I agree, brake or carb cleaner is your friend!

I use the Citric acid for wasps and hornets. Didn't know it worked on spiders, Hands usually work better than boots, every time I go to step on them I seem to miss them. You guys have it bad, Up north we get the occasional brown recluse but it's extremely rare. I get these things that look like the bug they inject into the dude from the Matrix with. It's like centipede on steroids. They're nasty, and extremely quick...but they kill spiders

Camel spider, the only thing that gives me the hebbie gebbie's. I saw a few in Saudi, and they are some ugly, wicked looking, creatures.

lol funny stuff...for spiders i jus keep the shop clean as possible put the long extension on the shop vac or a broom n edge all the corners n base boards, gets rid of them creepy sobs plus it looks good afterward

Dog spider, thats so cute. Don't much care for them myself, just don't like finding them under the house with me when I down there. Will have to try the water & unsweeten juice thing.

I swear by Raid Fumigators. This stuff works great. It's like shock and awe to those eight-legged creepy bastards. I use one can in my 2-car garage. F.U. spiders - total eradication!!!!!! It doesn't seem to leave any residue at all but somehow keeps them away for 3-6 months afterwards.
