So...my buddy let me drive his Superbird the other...(see what a day!!) Well...he is working on another bird for somebody else.....taking the matching numbers drivetrain out and putting in a Hemi.....seems kinda wrong to take the 440 and tranny out but its what the guy wants....there is a special place in hell for us doing this. It was cool anyway.... IMG_20130817_110705_408.jpgIMG_20130817_110727_746.jpgIMG_20130817_084607_188.jpgIMG_20130817_084003_342.jpg

Smokin *** Color. Don't worry about the 440 feel the power flow in the Hemi. At 75 miles an hour you will begin to know why it's the king Kong.

For the money he's got in this deal it better be King Kong!!!!!

Looks "FREAKEN" great with a Hemi in there thou... Hemi, the best attention getter...

Raise your hand if you would drive this car, park it in the lot and go shopping or to Applebees for lunch also leaving it in the lot, no I didn't think so. I would leave the matching #s 440 in and put the Hemi in something that I could have fun with.

I think his plan is to drop the 440 in a challenger he has...but he is definitely keeping it.

looks great, but i am with redhorse.keep the b all original(one of those cars that is really worth it)put the hemi into something else and drive the **** out of it!

Straps

That is cool. Can we see some photo's of what the yellow thing is holding up the body on the cherry picker? it looks like it's materiel or something. What is it secured too?
They are heavy duty nylon straps..with hooks on the end and they were attached to what would be front bumper brackets.

Not sure that I trust that cherry picker enough to crawl under the car while it's suspended like that. JMHO.
