Progress report, Junkyard Dog

Know the feeling Matt, what's a Friday, same as any other day for me too! I take hours off, today, at 1230 in the afternoon, I took time to go see Man of Steel, then, back at it till 7pm!

Nothing much to add, lots of other things going on but I am gearing up to have it in my shop after its painted. I think I finally have made enough room for it. I have been told that a couple of the long term projects have been wrapped up over at B & B and that the "DOG" is next up for the last of the bodywork and paint. Scheduling depends how busy there winter collision season is in the coming months. I'll keep you all in the loop.

Glad to see you popping in. I'm looking forward to some updates Matt

Matt, looks like your progress is like mine; slow! We should have threads running showing what we're really doing to justify our non-involvement in our 'Dogs' and such! Happy Thanksgiving ya'll!

How come I haven't seen you over at FCBO lately? You were there and then you weren't...

You're right Donny, we should. I've been doing some C & E body stuff but mostly concentrating on the business and getting the shop the way that I want it.

I got serious about sorting things out to get the R/T over to the house, researching parts/costs, planning etc. I've got the engine and trans out etc. I'll pop back over soon .. maybe this weekend. I'm really looking forward to some updates on the Dog :)

Matt's been bust buying up all the parts in SE Michigan :th_krazy: Except for the one we beat him to :angel3:

Guilty as charged Paul, some deals I just can't pass up. Busy sorting through it in my spare time, you should come by sometime.

Matt,

you got any pics of what's going on in your shop? What kind of furniture will you be doing.........tables, chairs......?

Robert

Hey Robert, I've been doing custom carpentry, light metal fab and precast concrete for years and years among other things. I made it into a few magazines last year that featured my work about the same time I was moving into the building which gave me even more confidence that I was doing the right thing. Eventually I would like to be just building custom pieces full time in my shop but for now my client work has been keeping me very busy. The shop continues to be a work in progress but it's a place where I can play with my cars and a home base to make a living out of. Here's my website and thanks for your interest.

Nice work "your business, I mean" some pretty cool looking stuff. I offset my Mopar addiction doing allot of the same things as well "wish my wife would relax and let me start my own business" maybe I could get fired haha. Congrats and good luck with the car
