Okay, I went up to the loft and pulled out a '68 GTX fender and scribbled the following:

That'll be one 16oz. PBR, preferably unopened.

Thank you.

Have you checked the backside of the fender to see if the holes are visible? I found mine that way - they were just mudded in.

That's pretty spiff Will. Is that what all the best dressed Wisconsonites are sporting these days ? Inquiring minds want to know.

what went in the large hole?

Half of my life - or sorry, I thought you were talking about my ex-wife.

The large hole on the fender is for a molding clip. Being a GTX it had lower rocker moldings.

The bottom edge is tricky to measure from because it does not have a sharp line. That's why I use the upper body line. You'll notice in the drawing the large hole is 5 9/16" from the upper body line. In truth, if your car has the lower rocker molding, then there will be holes in the rocker panel as well. You'd be better served to have the fender mounted and adjusted correctly, then striking a line from the existing holes in the rocker over to the fender. This way the clips for the molding are guaranteed to be on the same plane.
