Thanks Bob!
You don't think Petty will come back to drive when Dodge makes its return to NASCAR???

I was wondering why nobody was putting up their picks for the Gator Nats, then I looked at the schedule. Gotta wait another week!

Getting closer....

Hey all, it's been three weeks between events so here's your 72-hour reminder before the 3rd race of the 2014 season, the 45th Annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals, March 13-16, at Auto-Plus Raceway in Gainesville, FL.
As always, your picks need to be posted before Pro Qualifying starts on Friday, March 14 in order to qualify for all event bonus points. Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 12:00 Noon EDT (9:00AM PDT).
The weather forecast for Friday calls for mostly sunny skies and a 71F high temp following a 20% chance of some rain showers tomorrow (Wednesday). The forecast also mentions a 20% chance of rain sometime Sunday so let's hope they're late in the day after the racing is done.
The Amalie Motor Oil Gatornationals entry list is posted on http://www.nhra.com/events/entrylist03.aspx and now shows 19 Top Fuel, 17 Funny Car, 20 Pro Stock and 24 Pro Stock Motorcycle entries, but the counts are still subject to change.
Pro Stock Motorcycle will compete for the first time this season at this event so be sure to include your PSM rider choice in your picks. Keep checking http://www.nhra.com/events/entrylist03.aspx for an updated entry list.
Get your picks posted and GOOD LUCK!

Gators Picks... T/F Antron Brown , John Force F/C , Allen Johnson P/S , Matt Smith P/SM

Allen is going to have his new Dart isn't he? Saw some test runs on it, running 6.50's out of the box. Sounds promising.

TF Doug Kalitta
FC John Force
PS Allen Johnson
PSM Mike Ray Jr

On a side note: Snake and Mongoose is showing on pay per view. I have Direct TV and watch the movie last Thursday. Good flick, lot of cameos by racers.

OK, here are my Gator picks:

TF Doug Kalitta
FC Tommy Johnson Jr.
PS V Gaines
PSM Hector Arana Jr.

GP -I saw that we have the Snake and Mongoose movie on demand, too. I plan to watch it with my daughter when she's home on spring break next week. We wanted to see it in a theater, but the closest to us was Chicago.

Yes, AJ will have the new Dart at Gainesville - and maybe Jeggie, too?

Good luck guys!

TJ's gonna do something I feel. It sure is good to see him back.

Hey bobtile, how about posting a Funny Car driver pick and only one Pro Stock driver pick? I haven't heard anything about either Vieri Gaines or Allen Johnson trading in their Pro Stock ride for a flopper.
Thanks!

Done. I thought it was my keyboard but it was just a brainfart. Duh! Thanks.

There's another Gray racing Pro-stock now too, Johnathon Gray, Johnny Gray's youngest son & Shane's younger bros.
