I just sat down and added up my mods/upgrades for this year and I had to sit down with a bourbon. I have almost spent $4628.00 and all the parts are not on yet. Here is what I have purchased:

1.Mopar Perfomance- valve covers, breather, breather cap (all are at Phoenix Specialty Coatings getting the treatment) Cuda Chick has been great to work with, new mounting hardware.

2. KYB front and rear shocks -mounted and really like the result.

3. Hurst comp shifter and kit
4. QTP electric exhaust cutouts
5. Griffin Aluminum radiator
6. Edelbrock 2087 top end kit
7. Milodon low profile 7 qt pan and pick up tube.
8. Hedman elite HTC headers
9. Comp Cams 21-228-4, .545 lift

Have I done enough to wake this car up and change the personality? I think the install will begin within a couple of weeks.

Once CUDACHICK gets done, it will have about 50 more horsepower. She does excellent work.

There's nothing more worth it. You spend it... you enjoy it.

Greg, thank you first for the mention and the kind compliments! I hope to do the parts some serious justice and make you proud to open the hood.

As far as adding up those receipts ......... don't do it!! Nobody needs a scare like that, trust me. Just enjoy the experience of building and driving your legacy because the Smiles Per Gallon are what's really important. As soon as that bad boy fires up for the first time you'll forget all about what it took to get there.

Stay tuned for your Powder **** next week ......... :D

CudaChick sells horsepower? All this time I thought she did powder coating...:happy3:

I agree when you fire it up for the first time it will all be worth it and look good too

I dropped off my car at Motorheads in Elyria, Ohio http://motorheadsoh.com/Home_Page.html. Never had a shop touch my car before except for exhaust, alignments, and paint. These are hardcore Mopar guys so I am in good hands. My bill will exceed yours, don't know yet by how much However, I know that when the car is running right and driving nice, I'll fall in love with it all over again so it will all be worth it. So will you with your car.

Dude:

A. it was your money to do with as you like.
B. It was TOTALLY worth it if it made you happy, or at least satisfied.
