Heater box rebuild

Decided to rebuild my heater box from my 68 Roadrunner. Bought a complete gasket set from DMT.
Man there's lots of small parts in the heater box.:icon_confused::icon_confused: I sand blasted,epoxy primed, and used detail grey from The East Wood Company or Low Sheen Sems Black.

Also pulled the fresh air box.

What are you using to fi9x cracks in fiberglass on heater box?

Ground it very carefully and used fiber glass resin and glass sheet. Made the repair small and it is on top edge of box up under the dash so I don't think you will be able to see it.
I will post picture of the fix soon.
If I do it again I would only apply the fiber glass and resin from the inside only so you don't see it. The repair is very strong.

Ah that all looks familiar.. got lucky and mine was in really good shape so I just gave it a good cleanout and painted the blower motor plate and all the cable holds black on the outside. Great job though, everything looks awesome!

Not sure. Have not built a Mopar one with A/C. But when Ihave did my Chevy I bought a new repop. Not sure if they are available forMopar's

Oh man finally done with the heater box rebuild.
I think it turned out pretty good.
Thanks for the people that helped me along the way with my dumb questions!
You can see in one of the pictures the small fiber glass repair I did. It's towards the top and for the most part I don't think it will be very visible under the dash.

the way i removed mine was using a pair of pliers grasping the outside edge of the retainer, and while turning it cc, pulling at the same time. kinda like unscrewing it.
