Anyone besides have one fail with a dual filter setup. 440 6 pack 1969 Plymouth GTX with edelbrock heads. Called Mildon and of course they said I could buy a new one.

Is there another choice that would be better ?

Line , Pump, Pickup ??? or your filter set up ?? What went south ?!?!?

The pump and the external cover were trashed. Milodon had no explanation. I just fired it up to warm up put it in neutral and was listening to the motor when I noticed I had Zero oil pressure. I shut it down. I drained the oil and found nothing in the oil. I went back with a mopar performance oil pump from summit for 100. I would have thought they would of made at least the external cover good. Just not going to spend another 500 .

Something was picked up and got into the pump. This doesn't just happen. One time something was picked up large enough to jam the rotors and break the driveshaft. To solve THAT issue, started using prefilters!:glasses2:
And may I also suggest using oil filters with NO BYPASS!!!!

How many quarts of oil did you have in it? How big a pan? single or dual line pick up? Did you prefill the 2 filters?

You could have easily sucked the pan dry, that is what it sounds like to me.

Here is the best remote filter mount I have ever used, it has a single stage pump in it that pre lubes the engine. Great for people like me who don't get to take their cars out enough:

The system was pre primed and ran the day before all day out and about driving around town. 7 quarts of oil, I use Royal Purple. I find it strange that the next day , zero pressure. Milodon said it was trashed but no evidence of why it failed.

How high do you shift ?????

the pump just didn't destroy its self for no reason. it either sucked debris into it from the pan or hose or had junk in it when it was put on. Milodon is one of the few companies that i never really bitch about their products. lets see some pictures.
