Now that one is arguable. Everything has a part number, but that doesn't mean it's stamped with it.
So you think that the guys making repros would make a mold of the real part that didn't have part numbers and then they'd ADD the part number and trademark to it in raised lettering?
At this point it's really not even about the part, you're really making this into a post about finding a way to prove that what your friend told you is right and everyone else is wrong.
I was just trying to help you think about it with a little less bias. There's probably not any specs on the part online. I've had the metal ones and half the time the bolt that comes out of the back isn't even long enough to fit through the grill. The plastic piece has way more detail, fits right, AND the guys who really know are sitting here telling you your answer. Good luck with it.
