Good to see Alex. I remember that car on the centerline wheels so well. Always parked in the driveway. Like, always parked. Or on the trailer headed to sears point. That's the extent of it. Man the memories

Yep, vinyl top going back on including hood blackout and pin stripe. Just like it left the factory. Slot mags like the day I got it but they will be 15"

Great to see the updates brother. These cars look great with or without the vinyl tops I'd definitely put it back on and will do on my 70 when I get to it. The R/T is coming first though.

Yeah, I told Mike that working on my car will be like he's on vacation. The only major piece of sheet metal he replaced was the left front apron and that was to repair damage that was done long before I got the car. Oh, and the hole in the floor that some idiot HS kid cut to put in a 4 spd :blush:

It's painted!! Now apply undercoating following the factory pattern and a few other detail items and it will be just like she left the LA plant in 1968. Mike has been awesome to work with by doing exactly what I wanted, which was to follow the factory painting procedure as reasonably possible. And that includes all the minor body defects that were present. So far it looks like the only procedural difference between the 1968 LA assy plant job and the job from two days ago is Mike wasn't stoned or frying on acid when he painted it.

WOW, that looks phenomenal Meeps! Love the photos. Can't wait to see it again in person. And thanks for donating the small cut-out portion of this car to repair the driver's side fender apron in my own '68 Sport Satellite engine bay. It'll give my car some good mojo for sure and I think that's too cool!

Ya know, I've been noticing a deficit of white Road Runners. This one is a décor package car and came with hood blackout, vinyl top and accent stripe (1/8" pin stripe).
