Way to pull through and make it work Monroe!Damn good job! Lotta of folks would have tossed their hands in the air and just spent weeks being pissed. Hat's off to you.
Man Monroe sorry to hear about the trouble but well done on handling it. Keep up the great work on the X !
Funny you should say that Tony. I actually had a couple of things hanging with the auto spring clamps I used on the roof lining. They were too tight for the rubber so I swapped over for a couple of pegs. Should have taken a photo of that. LOLLooking great Glenn. Nice use of the pegs, take you didn't have any washing to hang on this day.
Thanks Hawk. I saw the black on your thread and I did read somewhere that the area behind the lights should be black. I'm kind of a bit toey at the moment in wanting to get the thing on the road, so I won't be changing it yet. But I will come back to it later on. A mate of mine asked me the other day what am I gonna do when it's finished? I told him I'd probably bring it back in and tackle the things that I wasn't happy with. Sometimes tinkering in the garage is just as much fun as driving. As always Glenn, nice work!
I have to do my trunk weather stripping soon too, so I may be PMing you for some tips on doing it well. I hate the gluey stuff because it is so easy to do wrong and there are no chances for do overs!
Do you plan to black out the front of your car? Chrysler blacked out lighter colors (like my Limelight, for example), but I am not sure if yours would have received it. On my car, we went overboard a bit and "over restored" the black, but I really didn't want any green showing through the grill.

I think we've all fallen victim to that temptation from time to time. I heard somewhere that boys never really grow up, they just get older. Too true I say.
