69 B body - Fan blade orientation - Feeling dumb... and sober

Ok.. I'm feeling a little bit dumb. I can't remember NOR find a good picture of how the fan blade orientation should be. If you tell me to look in the factory service manual, I DID... LOL... The only thing it says, is that if the fan blade is bent, replace it... No picture.

DO the bent tips face the engine block or radiator. I found a picture in the manual unrelated to "cooling" and it had the bent tips facing the radiator.
It looks odd. It is a factory OEM 5 blade FAN.

Hoping someone can chime in soon, I'm in the shop working on the BEE today.. Ready to start it a 2nd time.

The bent tips face the block. Last year at the Chrysler nationals I was looking at a nice Dart convertible and asked the owner if there was any reason he ran his fan backwards. He didn't even know it was on the wrong way.

I respectfully disagree. The "cup in the blade" goes towards the block.
The "bent tip" towards the radiator. I finally found a bunch of pictures and in the link above.

The fan goes on where it will pull the air through the radiator...ie, air flow comes in from the front and goes towards the engine.

Right - and each fan blade has a "cup" in it just as a deck board might when you build with lumber. the cup goes towards the block. Bent tip towards radiator.
