The Martin widomak'r isn't mine...damnit....but since my Old Man was test pilot w/ Martin in WWll, it gives me a little license in my connection to the Beasts....ooohh sssooo Buuubbuubbaaddd is this bird...those props are over 14 ft diameter, 350 mph @ military gross, shed its bombload of 3-4000 lbs. and then get in the mix w/ FW-190's & Me-109's.

The best bass amp I've ever had was a peavey renown 2-12 guitar amp.

Don't care for them as guitar amps, though.

I have an '84 Marshall 75 1-12 combo "Linda" (line worker sticker on circuit board).

Thank you Linda for that sweet controllable feedback!!

I also had an '84 Squier Strat. Black with black pick guard and a double coil.Last year it was the exact same tooling as the USA strat.

Wish I had that one back.

Damn YY1....You a Bassist...too bad were on opposite ends of country.....We are looking for a down in the ditches player. Your Squier Japanese? This is an 87 Korean(Samick?) w/ SD cool-cool-hot rails...i play heavy flat wound, so this makes a pretty fat strat...trem is blocked
The config here is the peavey renown is slaved off sterile signal from back of behringer modeler. so all those stomps are going into just pwr section on Peavey(pre's fried @ moment)the last two stomps are delays the silver ibanez is 0-2600 ms and the blue digi is 0-8 sec....i do lots of sound on sound and the peavey is the amp that handles all repeats, so it is generally clean most of the time, sometimes i'll crunch it up for meaner progressions, but it stays tonal to provide clear foundation to work over. once i've got a track or more locked on infinite, the n istart sending more gain to peavey for the ribbon cutting....shreds. I'm running a different hook up right now and the outboard delays are on hiatus till i get another 2x12 cab w/ different flavor spkrs. After owning the behr modeler since 04, a couple mos. ago i finally hooked it up in stereo, using the scorpions in peavey for one side...that randall cab is loaded w/ Celestion 1265's...so i'm not bi-amping right now, but will get back after more spkrs. Sounds like a Bassman on steroids now, because my signal now is axe to marshall stomp compressor, to joyo US dream distortion to morley straight wah to a boutiqued proco Rat dist to ART tube preamp(single 12AX7) into front of modeler....it works amazingly well....word has been that that external gain does not bend well w/ digital....i got lucky fat as.....sustain til next year and it sounds like a tube amp ready to break....for very little money.....it'll turn up but i'm into micing from a reasonable level if i need to push a lot of air. real happy w/ the latest arrangement, one of the largest jumps in tone i've made in sometime...and i din' drop a dime to do it...thas a win win. Nice to hear from You.....Rock on Bro> jim the ART has a 50dB gain boost that is a lot of the magic, i highly recommend them..40.00...i need one more now to go back to bi-amping
