Anybody used Automotive Touchup brand paints?

I have some chips in my paint, and saw this company on line. They say they have FY1 in sizes from pens, 1/2 ounce, and larger. My car is not a trophy winner, so I am not expecting a perfect match, but this seems to be a good deal. Anybody used their stuff?

Thanks in advance.

I have used them on a few cars, never a perfect match but better than doing nothing.

I use them for my 72 Coronet GY4. It's very close to original

I used this on my wife's Lexus with the Pearl white paint. It was a very minor scratch just below the door panel that must have been picked up on the interstate. While the color was close,....but not close enough.

It is pretty much impossible to get a perfect match. That is why when painting a damaged panel on a vehicle you have to do a blend so you trick the eye to make it appear perfect. if you painted just one panel and placed it against an existing panel you could see the difference.

Im just interested in touching up door edge chips, under
hood chips, etc. Cant afford to paint panels, let alone a whole car.

I understand Greg, I wasn't suggesting you do a repaint just letting you know it won't be perfect but fairly close. Good luck.

Thanks. After way too many months in the shop last year I am finally able to get in, turn the key, and burn rubber. Just want to make it nice for Carlisle.

I used this on my wife's 07 Sequoia in silver to paint a new plastic front bumper cover after a deer collision. It was a surprisingly good match to the silver and came out better than I expected. The metallic silver had no activator and it was a base/clear kit that I purchased (clear was 2 part). I tried a rear bumper cover several years back using their rattle cans and that was a nightmare and impossible to get good coverage with silver metallic. The part that turned out good was sprayed with a cheapo HVLP.

Just got the bottle in the mail. I plan in giving it a try next week - working on my wife's Mustang this weekend.
