Which is what I have to work with.

How would you modify the pedal assembly to work?

Cut/weld/modify the rear torsion bar brace for the shorter rear portion of the transmission?

I bought a B-body conversion kit that 'included' everything, but the pedal assembly is the same as the spare FMJ pedal assemblies I have already (a bunch) I will try to up load pics tonight.

The trans that I want to use is from a 1976 A/F body trans, cast iron, but over drive-

-weaker, too large of a gear split, but 3.09 first gear AND a shorter tail shaft.

Well, Blackbird has cut his frame to make this work, the floor shift metal pan pretty much lines up, and he used mounting adapter plate to move his shifter back.

I have extra steel to re weld the frame back. It's very tight, access to cut metal comes at a premium. It looks butchered, in the middle of the progress, but I can see it turning out great.
