Does anybody here have pictures of their tunnel ran setup with inline holley carbs? I am looking for linkage kits and would like to see what other have done. Thanks in advance.

Here is what I have so far, not on the car yet. Cheap $20 kit from either Summit or Jegs to get the piece that runs vertically. The rest is from the hardware store. The tall throttle bracket is from AR Engineering and Mancini sells it.

Here is the list of stuff to get at the hardware store.

Here is a set-up I installed on my neighbor's 37 Ford. They are Edelbrock carbs but it would work on inline Holleys as well. You can set it up as progressive or both together. Clean install. Made by Lokar:

The inexpensive ones, like in the first photo, are prone to flexing. While they work, I have never liked them. I build my own setup, similar to the one shown on the supercharger. It is really pretty simple. Just make an adjustable strong (non flexible) rod to connect from one carb's throttle lever to the next. I then used a slant six throttle cable (because they are extra long) and connected directly to the front carb using a cable clamp made from a cut down slant six mount. Wickedly simple and effective. I am going with the same thing when I put the supercharger on the car. I'll get some pics of my setup when I go out to the shop this morning.

If you read my post again, I said the only thing I kept from the inexpensive kit is the solid vertical rod. For the horizontal rod that connects each carb, I use solid threaded rod. So I'm kinda scratching my head about where the flex can come from? I agree that if you use everything from the cheap kits, there will be flex, that's why I tossed everything except the vertical rod and pieced together the rest from the parts list I posted.

No worries, I couldn't tell from the post exactly which parts you used. Flex is in the rod interconnecting the two carbs, which you apparently replaced.

I made my interconnecting rod from a solid 3/8 aluminum rod and some rod ends. The throttle cable is from a 72 slant six pickup (extra long). The cable clamp is cut off of the same engine and bolted to a metal bar bolted to the manifold. Yes, it is dirty in the pics, I like to drive the thing when I can.

I used pretty much the same thing as in the first pic on a couple of Holley 750's and the car ran consistent 10.68.....it was unreal. It would run 10.50's but not consistently so I tuned it to where it would to the point I just left the dial in on the windshield. If the linkage was flexing, the car didn't care.

And the tunnel ram in the first pic is also the actual tunnel ram you used since I bought from you on this board!

Yup...kinda wish I kept it since it looks like I'll be using a 440 in my car after all lol. I can always use adapters for the low deck TR tho....

Thank you so much guys i appreciate it. The biggest issue is that i dont have the manifold bracket for the throttle cable to begin with. I did find a place to get them though.
