Does anybody here have pictures of their tunnel ran setup with inline holley carbs? I am looking for linkage kits and would like to see what other have done. Thanks in advance.
Here is what I have so far, not on the car yet. Cheap $20 kit from either Summit or Jegs to get the piece that runs vertically. The rest is from the hardware store. The tall throttle bracket is from AR Engineering and Mancini sells it.Does anybody here have pictures of their tunnel ran setup with inline holley carbs? If you read my post again, I said the only thing I kept from the inexpensive kit is the solid vertical rod. For the horizontal rod that connects each carb, I use solid threaded rod. So I'm kinda scratching my head about where the flex can come from? I agree that if you use everything from the cheap kits, there will be flex, that's why I tossed everything except the vertical rod and pieced together the rest from the parts list I posted. The inexpensive ones, like in the first photo, are prone to flexing. While they work, I have never liked them. I build my own setup, similar to the one shown on the supercharger. It is really pretty simple. Just make an adjustable strong (non flexible) rod to connect from one carb's throttle lever to the next. I then used a slant six throttle cable (because they are extra long) and connected directly to the front carb using a cable clamp made from a cut down slant six mount. Wickedly simple and effective. I am going with the same thing when I put the supercharger on the car. I'll get some pics of my setup when I go out to the shop this morning.
No worries, I couldn't tell from the post exactly which parts you used. Flex is in the rod interconnecting the two carbs, which you apparently replaced. If you read my post again, I said the only thing I kept from the inexpensive kit is the solid vertical rod.
