Add the windchill here and it rounds off to a cool -30 below!
Yikes!

Not trying to start a whole debate about global warming, but I read that global warming has weakened the jet stream that runs across North America. Due to this, it is more prone to being pushed around, leading to periodic dips into the lower part of America where is usually does not go.

Not sure if that is accurate, but if it is, then our sporadic cold *** temperatures ARE from global warming!

Whatever it is, I want my warmer temperatures back...

Yes it is very cold, this morning in the barn my two donkeys had frost on their muzzles and that has not happened before. It went to -22 last night with high winds. Wind chill made that about minus who the hell knows, but very cold!! Our ducks however came right out of the coop and jumped into the water and splashed around. They could care less. The sheep were unconcerned too. The chickens were really puffing their feathers out. Lester the turkey just looked at me, as if to say" Nope, not going out today dude, I move so slowly my feet might get stuck to the ground and i'll freeze". lol.

Well, it's 41 here at my house this morning and supposed to get to 50+/- today. We have had an unusually warm winter so far. January and February are normally quite vicious. But it's going to be like this for the next week or so. I'll take it, sure beats -20!

Last two months there were days I was running wearing only a t-shirt and shorts. Yesterday I looked like the Stay Puft marshmallow man with a single digit temperature. This winter has been warm until this last week or two.

there having some fun in the cold.......

Winter was late as hell for us and then it was colder than usual.......not so easy for a desert duster....

It was only 1 degree here at 8am this morning. It's supposed to warm up this week. I only have a couple small electric heaters to warm the garage with, so when it's this cold it's just not worth trying to warm it up. Hopefully I can do a little work on the Coronet NEXT weekend.

Well as bad as it is last night, and 0 * today, it's going to be +44 Tuesday..if you don't like the weather in Vermont just wait a few days, or hours, and it will change.

Apparently, a great reason to not live in the northeast

Oh too bad, it's a balmy 70* here :jerk: , supposed to get wet & colder later in the week thou...
:headbang: I'll just have to suffer thru it I guess...LOL

It was 45*F here for a low. Expecting 60*F for the high. Lowest for the Winter season so far has been 16*F. I'll deal with dodging tornadoes over minus zero* F temps any day of the week.

In fact, it's a nice day for convertible cruising!
