Exhaust kit recommendations...

Go with the accurate exhaust that is a quality material wont rust and you get the stock reproduction of the hemi mufflers, stock bends and all the brackets you need. Mine sounds really nice nice! check them out... make sure you read the instructions carefully, have a helper and or lift and don't over tighnten the smaller clamps they will break.
 
TTi has a stainless steel kit that will last forever.
 
Forgot to mention that I'm on a budget... I don't want to spend over 300 for the whole exhaust set up.
 
I`ve used the Summit kit on my 65 Coronet. I did have to modify it a bit to make it work on my car but on yours I bet it fits right up. Its made by Maremont and is excellent quality. I was also impressed with the sound. Remember you need to run headers with this kit. For the money you cant go wrong. I would buy this kit again.

Well I do have the summit headers on my car... so I figured that the summit exhaust kit should bolt right up. Thanks for the reply!
 
My brother used the summit kit on his duster, he was very happy with it for the money.
 
While TTI and Accurate make wonderful products, many of us cannot rationalize spending over 1k on exhaust for something we don't drive everyday.

Agreed. I used Waldron in Michigan. They bend the pipes to the original cards. Choice of muffler and everything was ike stock on my 73.
A little more than your $300 but WAY cheaper than Accurate or TTI. I paid with clamps front to back $500 with shipping to my door.

I have used the Summit kit twice, once with my old A body Barracuda and once with my roadrunner. I am running the 2.5" kit. works well and has a nice sound. You will need to cut off the ends of the tail pipes. You can then install a tip if you want. I just cut mine off at an angle and ground off the burs and sharp edges.

I have used there kit on 2 A bodies and 1 B bode. Fit was good.

Check out Pypes exhaust. It's just a tad over $300 but it's all stainless. I have the 2 1/2 inch kit with magnaflow mufflers and I love it. It's all mandrel bent too.
 
Good morning, I was reading an older post about those 73 charger grill head light fillers. Mine have shrunk and have not fit in years, I see some out there that are perfect in pictures but can seem to find them for sale. After boiling the water wont they just cool and shrink back?
