Summit racing...... best there is to deal with period!

I agree also....only ever had one reason to call them to complain. I bought a bunch of small parts - throttle levers, sight glasses etc. They sent all the parts ...no problem, but the order was split between the 3 stores, so I ended up paying 3 times the receiving fee at my shippers consolidation yard for 3 separate parcels. Luckily my friend sorted the extra two fees out after a while, but I thought it was pretty dumb to split the order the way they did.
 
I haven't dealt much with Jegs (only because I'm so close to Summit) but am glad to hear they're on par with Summit. I'll have to keep them in mind if I ever can't find what I need at Summit.
 
I have spent thousands of dollars with Jegs with good results. And they race Mopars!

I don't buy from summit anymore if I don't have to. Had a few large orders with them this year, so they sent a free summit hat in one of them. It had a big American flag sewn into the side, awesome, looked inside an there was a big fat made in china tag. I went through all this trouble to buy only U.S. made parts and this abomination shows up. What a slap in the face. Probably doesn't sound like a big deal to most, but it is to me.

Not something that would turn me away from a great supplier but it would piss me off. Like you I tend to spend more than I should because the first thing I ask when deciding which brand to go with is "where are they made"?
 
I have never had a problem with summit neither...glad everyone hasnt either...and another thing I always have my stuff in like 2 day shipping totally awesome.
 
I love Summit.... I order Monday and get it Tuesday. Service is #1 I bought some Hoosiers tires and they were out of round sent them back full refund. They just want you as a repeat customer. They realize racers spent a lot of cash on there toys and Summit goes above and beyond to keep you as a customer.

Dealt with summit for years, great inventory, top notch customer service, no question returns and free FAST shipping on orders over a certain amount!!!!
 
I still support small business, whenever possible. Summit and Jegs are like Walmart.
 
Big thumbs up to Summit. Excellent service and quick shipping. I'm two days away so that is great.

I like doing business local but when they are so far out of line on pricing I walk.

Summit is always my first choice when I go on line.

I have a set of tires on backorder and I hope they come in when projected.

I bought a 10x10 covered Mopar canopy for set-up & sun cover at events, etc. I had it over my car in the driveway and got caught in about 3 days of Heavy Rain. The canopy (with wind) caught a lot of water and actually bent the legs on my canopy-resulting in a collapsed canopy, with lots of water still in the canvas folds. It was clearly my fault. I searched everywhere for additional legs to make my MOPAR canopy functional again, but no luck. I called the manufacturer--who in turn sent me to Summit (retailer). I explained that I would like to purchase another set of legs and told them the story. DAMN...they sent me a complete NEW canopy & aluminum legs set-up within a 2 day delivery. FREE OF CHARGE --not even shipping. What a wonderful customer service department they have. I will always look at them if I need anything.
