Mopar Collectors Guide announced that the August 2016 issue of Mopar Action will be its last. Harris publications pulled the cord on the long running bi-monthly magazine.

I lost interest in the Mopar mags long ago, not enough cool builds and a total lack of interesting articles.

The tech articles were good and I wonder where Rick Ehrenberg will land.

Haven't subscribed to any of the Mopar rags since at least 2003.

They may only cancel the newsstand circulation if they an not find a new distributor and keep the current subscribers going along with a new and supposedly improved digital edition. I prefer print as my computer is too large to bring into my bathroom every morning.

These forums provide more than what MCG could ever compete with today.

yep the written publications are all seemingly slowly going away...
since the advent of the internet, it's easier & more info to get much quicker too,
not have to wait for the snail mail delivery...

RIP Mopar Action,
it was at one time one of the good ones

I quit getting any rag subscriptions in print some 10+ years ago now,
too many bad writers, unrealistic builds & not a strong following any longer...

sorry

Sad news as I love that mag for the tech articles. Damn.

I just picked up the August 2016 Mopar Action, I saw it on the newsstand and it was full of great stuff so I bought it. Beautiful 71 hemi GTX on the cover which made me want a 71 B body suddenly, and a restomod limelight 70 RR article plus trick flow heads solid roller cam shootout. There was also a subscription insert and no goodbyes/so-longs from the editor, Ehrenberg or anyone that I could tell. Is it really finished?

I saw them in the store too, didn't get one thou...

good question,
maybe they just needed to trim the fat/staff...

They say they're continuing...

You guys living under rocks or what??? Oh, sorry, I forgot most of you have "shunned" Moparts. Anyway, The Booger has a mile long post over there and he says another publisher has picked it up and has a better newsstand distribution system than the publisher that went BK. I don't recall all the facts, lower yourselves for a moment and go to Moparts general discussion page and scroll down til you find the thread.
Here, I'll save you some effort
