Been with mine for 16 years, she's a good lady...been with many prior to her and came to the conclusion a long time ago that even the good ones are a bit looney at times..
I've had knives put to my throat, my apt trashed, stalked among other things.... That one in particular came from an abusive relationship and when she would drink she would want to fight....like Mike tyson **** !!! Woke up one night with her on top of me with a butcher knife to my throat asking me if I thought she wouldn't do it????...Time to leave, never hit a woman, despise men that do.... and knew sooner or later my hand would be forced to defend myself so better to retreat and find new pastures...
When I did have a good one I acted like a dick and probably drove them crazy in my early years....others were just batshit crazy, dope, alcohol, violent ect ect...
Learned real quick not to invest a whole lot of time in relationships.
My current wife was a very close friend for over 13 years before we even thought about dating....matter of fact I crashed on her couch a couple of times getting away from some nuts!!! We knew each other's history pretty well and she still decided to marry me!!!

Was taught to not hit ladys. They can deal with issuses without getting violent. Otherwise you have every right to defend yourself.
 
My brother's second wife was nuts. Smoking hot, smart, was a nurse. Had lupus and got hooked on painkillers. Left my brother. Started forging prescriptions, got caught, did a year hard time (Texas). When she got out, the cop who busted her married her. She started using again. He picked her up from work one day, she leans over in the car, pulls out his service pistol, puts it to her head and pulls the trigger. What a waste.
 
My cousin got pregnant at 19. The ******** own grandfather told her dad not to let them get married. But being the good Catholics there were they made her marry him. He abused her from day one. Beat her, raped her, threatened her life. Accused her of infidelity, you name it he did it. Eventually she left him. And 40 years later he still is a manipulating scumbag. There are a lot of sick people in this world and not all are woman.

The thread isn't about being in a relationship with a crazy man. There wouldn't be too many replies if any!

The scumbag that you're describing needs to be pushed into the path of a speeding bus. But when you're dealing with a crazy woman you can't lay a hand on her or you will be in jail. She might even go to the lenth of hurting herself and then blaming you. Happens all the time.

If you're blessed with a good partner in life, that's great! But if you're still looking for that compatible person, you just might run into some real syco wemon out there. Ask me how I know!

Ain't that the truth. Think of the hottest girl you can think of, and then really realize that there is someone who is tired of F-ing her, tired of everything. This thought really makes me appreciate what I have more for some reason
 
My ex is certifiable. Turning point was when she decided to sucker punch me in the mouth. At that point I no longer cared what happens next. I too was brought up to protect women, not hit them, but I won't be a doormat. She thought she had control and power over me to do whatever entered her head. She was wrong and went too far.
It got to the point we couldn't be in the same room without fighting, so I called it quits at great cost to me for years. Can't put a price on your sanity though.

Met a few crazies afterwards, but I learned to tell the signs early and run for the hills!

My current wife and I get along great, but she has her moments where I just shake my head. We rarely argue and we respect each other, which goes a long way to a stable relationship. And I can honestly say she is my best friend.

my first girl friend after I got divorced, wanted me to kill her dad. he was a preacher. you can figure how fast I EXITED !
 
Define "relationship".

Girl seemed normal at the bar.

She suggested we go somewhere else and she would drive.

First clue was when she would get up to 75 MPH, then look over at me, start talking and basically coast to about 40 MPH (on a 60 MPH road), and repeat.

Second and final clue was the line-

".....and you don't have to worry about my husband...'cause he's in prison".
