Something not right about this 1971 GTX?

You mean, E86 ? That's the engine code for 440 4bbl.

Of course it is, where else would they put the engine code - don't I feel like an idiot LOL got distracted trying to figure out this stupid striping package on this car since they have it all messed up. Thanks!

so I've seen j78 be front speaker and 240 km speedo and now spoiler ,hmm does anybody know which it is ? why would they have spoiler package A 45 and then call out front spoiler separate

I can't speak for other years but for 71, J78 designates front spoiler to go with J81 rear spoiler. Yes, in 71, St. Louis coded the spoiler package and the individual spoilers.

Tag on charger I have for sale 22 inch radiator as well as my Roadrunner. My 318 Satellite with AC has a 26"

Mine is an A/C car with a 26" radiator that car of yours has a few nice options. Front and rear spoiler package and turn signal indicators. Formal Black with a B5 blue interior and B7 upper door frame color. That must be sweet looking. Do you have a picture of it! And the U is a built to USA spec car. Someone ordered it special just like mine.

Is that normal for a USA spec build? I'd have thought 150 mph speedo. Even Canada was still mph back then.
it took me around 8 years to grab a 240 Kmh speedo... and it was kinda "funny"... making some mantenience on it suddenlly the bushing got broken!!! FUN HUH ?? made to fix it thought!

http://wichargerguy.proboards.com/thread/19119/patiente-pays-brock-thing-help

couple of years later found another one, which seller claimed to be in working conditions, but it seems got broken same bushing broken on shipping. Got to fix it too.

Now I have two LOL. Althought both are diff... one with the high beam pilot light vertical in Blue in place where the 120 Km mark should be ( post 73 ), and the other with this slot Horizontal and red ( pre 73 ), and the 120 mark and number is present.

Of course that is down here in Vzla where we read in Km but these are really WEIRD and hard to find. No Chargers were assemblied with rallye clusters, everyone was standard cluster. just some really HARD TO FIND Coronets called locally SPECIAL EDITION were assemblied with rallye cluster in 74. Some of them got 400, but most of them got 318, as allmost every Mopar down here

Ok, highjack mode off
