On my 67 Charger, not sure if OE, numbers in the bottom left corner are 4C4 9636S. Im pretty sure its a Carter but have not pulled it off yet (think it is wrote on the back of them?)
I need a rebuild kit for it as it seems to be draining fuel into the block. Very hard to start after its off for 5 minutes, like the bowl is empty.
Can anyone direct me to a kit for this carb?

Your carb is an aftermarket Carter AFB. I would call Chicago Carburetor and give them your list number, they should be able to help with a rebuild kit. Here is their phone number and web site:
800-872-2446

Thanks guys.
I cant order across the border tho. Shipping kills me, costs almost triple the advertised price by the time I have it.

The phone number dosent seem to work.
Found another number for them 708-458-2500

Multi kits are carried at Rock Auto, I just rebuilt one of these with their kit and their a very nice quality kit with all that is required. By the word Multi, one kit does several carbs in a like family. Using the year, make and model on their site ( Rock Auto ), look at all the kits they offer and the manufacturer. Then, once you know the brand of the kit and the corresponding number, order the identical kit from Napa, Car Quest or any other parts outlet even APC. Stay away from Parts Source.

Good idea if you can't get one from Chicago carb. I have just bought several of their kits and the quality is top notch.

Do you think I should change the oil? Ive only had this problem 3 times and the oil & filter are new last week.

I would change oil and filter. Cheap insurance . Check carb for cracks or a porous casting, only seen it once but worth a look.

Is there a chance the fuel is boiling when you turn off the car? In the states the gas is kinda crappy and boils too soon for a non-fuel injected car.
Run car to temp, when turn off open hood, remove air cleaner and look in the throttle bores and see if boiling and listen for boiling. A rebuilt carb will not help for poor gas, heat spacers underneath often help, 1/2 inch at the least.

That is a possibility that I never considered but have heard of that happening. I will check that first.
is there any way to tell if there is gas in the oil other than putting it to my nose?

Is your oil level higher then you expect? You know it will take a fair amount of gas for that. The nose is best, sometimes a match will work.
edit: a touch of sarcasm

So I pulled the carb off. There are two adjusting screws coming from the top that have a hollow spot on the base side that is causing the gasket to not seal, on both sides. There was a big gap between the gasket and intake on each side. So basically the carb doesn't fit my dome.
Now I need to find one that does.

So some days I can have blinders on and not see the solution to the problem in front of me until I light a smoke and stare at the problem for a few minutes. My carb fits the dome fine, the PO put the wrong gasket on it. Pulled out my 40 year old Mccords gasket lit and what do ya know, the correct gasket is in it. I pulled the carb apart, cleaned it as best I could, put it all back together and put it back on the car. Then changed the oil and hit the key. The motor would shake like it had a broken motor mount when idling before, now shes smooth as glass. It sat all night, one pump, hit the key and it started rite up. Drove around all day, every time I started it back up it would fire rite up without touching the gas at all. Hopefully that is one problem fixed. Now just need to adjust it as it is getting too much fuel.
