440 w/headers - a request for pics of YOUR spark plug wire setups!

Now that things seem to be settled finally on my car, it's time to do something with my ragtag spark plug cables. They're a new set of MSD something or others bought at the local AdvanceOughtaParts, so they're draped over the shock towers, zip-tied to the dipstick, anything to keep them off the headers. It works for the moment, but...
Yuck.

Can I please see some pics of other folks with 440s with headers (mine are dreadful Hedmans)?? I gotta get this crap straight!

I have that style of wire loom also. I used longer valve cover studs with spacers under the loom rail to move the loom up a bit higher.
The MSD wires (cut to length for best fit), work ok on my 440 with the 1-7/8" headers in the Coronet.
On the Charger with 2" headers, I went to the Accel 9000 ceramic ended spark plug wires.

How much of a pain are those at plug changing time? Do they get in the way any other time when working on the engine?

I put that style on my wifes mustang, to me they are a pita! 1,2,3& 4 are impossible to get to without removing the loom. But now that everything's is done I shouldn't need to get in there until it's time to change them...

They add an extra step to Valve cover gasket changes. The plug boots hang below. The only troube I have had is getting the bots off. Firecore wires fit extremely tight. They include a bit of lube for installation to prevent sticking.

Changing plugs on a 440 with headers is never easy but you figure out which plugs you can reach from above and below the car and which tool for each.

My plug boots are 45 degree.

Reason I ask is that they look to be potentially in the way, making plug changing even worse. I also detect lots of new sharp edges for knuckles to lose skin over as well.
If they did such an arrangement that stacked wires vertically off the valve cover, I could see that being of benefit?

this was how i bought it and drove it , until it got parked its not pretty looking and the cats aren't getting their job done from the looks of those wires . ticket fear , lol . and two pick ups i'm doing now are the same

The headers are TTI 2" and are awesome. Changing plugs on the passenger side is a little bit of a pain but not horrible. Driver side is a dream. I can do all 8 plugs with a flex head ratchet, a plug socket, ratcheting box wrench, and a short extension. Way fewer tools than my last headers. The MSD wires have the perfect combo of boots for headers.

the blast pulse from cam over lap was cooking the booths , so ceramic ends to the rescue . heat pulse was over 888 deg from the fuel heating the primary tubes .
