Guys I didn't think I would be ever typing this again but the 72 440 4 speed charger I've been advertising for a friend of mine it finely sold! And to my surprise when I was called over to get it fired off after sitting for awhile no buyer ever showed up . They told me I might as well drive it since I got it started . Come to find out I was the buyer! My mother and the old man I've been taking care of both chipped in half and bought me the car! I'm happier then a pig in poo . I haven't stopped driving it ,carb is acting up a bit and there's no a/c but I don't care I'm driving a 440 4 speed charger again and it's mine !!!!!!!
I'll get pictures soon it's filthy

Wow, thats cool! Your Mom want to adopt any more kids?

You've been blessed!
Love those hideaways
Doesn't look filthy to me...
Run the wheels off it

Excellent!!!

Well I just got home I drove the hell out of it it runs ok the carb is having issues ,car is pinging on hard throttle and there's seems to be a vacuum leak under it so I have a rebuild kit and some gaskets to see if that's the whole problem or just part . But overall I say a little love and she's good to go.
As for the gift part this isn't normal behavior out of my mother I think since I keep getting the sh@@y end of the stick lately she wanted me to have something that makes me happy again since I sold most to stay afloat

That is a nice looking car. Well done and thanks for the interesting story!

I completely forgot to mention this I drove a new hell cat today also! The old owners of the charger replaced it with a hell cat so seriously 0-150 in like 10 sec that car is a freaking monster made the 440 4 speed charger feel like a 318 car . It takes a little to get used to it I used track mode and the red key fob the brakes are something else . But the owner of the car he doesn't push his cars that's my Job he was telling me he got it to 120 on the high way and he was gitty like a school girl.I showed him what the car is made out of we hit 150-160 he started grabbing a hold of stuff then finely said ok that's good ! Man what a ride that was . He then regained his composure and I asked if he wanted to try he said no I'll stay in this seat awhile let my *** release the seat . So next time I want a curvy road but I'll brake him in slowly I think he might have almost died !

Saw a Hellcat at the Mopar Nats go 11.11 in the 1/4mile; simply awesome!

Good for You Bb! On both counts.
Curious, what came of that (62?) Caddy You were thinking of getting? Didn't You say it had a breathed on LT-1 init? That car had some really choice looking wheels onit. Doors were shaved too weren't they?

Congrats!!! Glad to see you being happy !!!!

Ah the caddy something just didn't sit right with me about that car it had quite a bit of problems and the biggest was a terrible vibe why it idled I liked it it was a sweet car but between me being sceptical about the motors integrity I lost the guys number and just let it go. I found a sweet 61 Chrysler Newport in tampa but decided against it too as the motor condition was unknown. And the trans was out . I have a project I don't want another . The little things are fine but major work I can't do till I get fixed in one month by the way sep 21 is my surgery

Driving a Hellcat sure brings an old Mopar fan forward to the present.
I for one enjoy the contrast of the old VS the new even more since I got mine.
It is great fun to go for a drive in my 69 4sp hemi coronet with a friend and then take the same drive in the hellcat.:) They are both fun but so different.
